I was looking for an app on my iPhone to show access points and such for my wifi router at home and tried this. Turns out it does nothing but a fake demo mode unless you buy or have some kind of accessory. Who knows what it is but it makes this app useless without it I guess.

Really good for viewing the density of 2.4 GHz traffic. You do need to purchase the hardware so dont expect real data from the demo version. This is a nice tool for location of interference and finding the usage across the spectrum. Wish it worked at 5 GHz also.

This is a great tool to perform WiFi scans on the fly!

I couldnt get it to do anything close to whats advertised. My next stop is an uninstall.

Everyone calling this app "crap" or a "waste" is obviously too ignorant to read the first sentence of the apps description where it says in all caps that this app requires the accessory sold separately for it to exit demo mode. This app is extremely sophisticated and excellent for determining weak points in both business ad residential networks. It allows you to determine more accurately where and when you may need an extender or access point for signal consistency instead of using your best guess from experience. 4 Stars only because there should be a more definitive word in the apps name/title to alert oblivious users from assuming it functions without a required accessory.

Saying that a steak taste good, doesnt mean that it will!! The app is DEMO and only tries to sell you with the illusions of possibility.

Dont let those who failed to read prevent you from trying the app. Once you have the antenna attachment this app is simply amazing, fixed my signal drops in my flat, my office, I even bring with on travels when I do site visits at hotels (I work on corporate event support) so I can provide the best wifi config for my attendees. Wish I had this ability years ago when wifi first came out but I am so grateful it is here now. Highly recommend to anyone who does lots of networking or tired of guessing at what wifi config is fastest, use this and get a rock solid super fast wifi setup the first time.

I found the application and related hardware to be a very useful tool for evaluating wifi coverage. I wish it covered the 5 ghz spectrum as well but for sorting out 2.4 GHz issues, it works well.

Description is not clear that the demo has NO functionality. None whatsoever. It looks like it is receiving signals, even changes apparently with movement. But it is just a demo. The demo notice is very subdued. It would be better if it was a full brightness banner saying "this is not a live trace" If you dont need a pro type app and just want basic information , this is not the app.

Works great. Perfect for assigning channels and assessing signal strength. Shows more than just WiFi signals in the 2.4 GHz band. Now you can see what that wireless phone is doing to you.

Pointless junk without the antenna accessory. I thought it would work, but without some features. Not so... Without the antenna this is a DUD! Deleted from my phone.

It only works in a demo mode and very useless unless you pay....

Some people will never get it... This application is intended to be used with special hardware that is simply amazing! If you cant understand the part about the hardware being needed then you really should be move on to the gaming section... Oscium makes digital scopes, logic analyzers and power analyzers, that are intended to be used with iPhone iPad and iPods. Check out the hardware first then move to the software.
